A QUICK WORD BEFORE LUNCH
First game?
Pull up a chair.
Choose the kind of mischief you enjoy. We’ll explain the rules before the waiter starts asking questions.
THREE SMALL STEPS
A good place
to begin.
- 01
Pick your moment.
Prefer to take your time? Try a scratch card or covered dish. Want to decide when to leave? Meet Pierre in Heist.
- 02
Get the house rules.
Open a game’s detail page for the main decision, controls and credit information. The in-game rules explain its full mechanics.
- 03
Make yourself at home.
Play for free, then follow a character into another game or read the South African case. There’s no required order.
THE USEFUL DETAILS
Before you ask
the pigeon.
Do I need to register?
No. The public Studio games open without a registration form. They use a guest browser account. A separate registered-player site is in development; it is not the account system for these demos.
Do these public demos use real money?
No. The six Studio credit games use free virtual credits. Rugby and Quick Draw use practice scores; Wheel, Picnic, Rooftop and Market illustrate outcomes without a wallet. You cannot buy, transfer or withdraw the demo credits, and there are no cash prizes. The studio also offers a distinct operator-wallet integration model; it does not turn these demo links into money play.
Do all the games share my balance?
The public Studio accounts are separate. Heist destinations share one Heist balance. Crumb Cascade and Waiter’s Inspection share a balance. Scratch Heist, Food Drop and Under the Cloche each keep their own. Switching scenery within a game does not create a new balance. Rugby and Quick Draw keep separate practice results. Wheel, Picnic, Rooftop and Market have no balance.
Where do my credits come from?
The public credit demos provide a daily allowance of 1,000 free credits per game account, based on UTC. Shared-account games share that allowance. Check the balance and game rules before playing; these are the current Studio allowances, not a registered-player weekly allowance or a one-time seasonal grant.
Will my progress be there when I return?
The credit-game server saves accepted rounds, balances and unfinished awarded features for your guest account. Wheel, Picnic, Rooftop and Market instead keep temporary 30-minute sessions that clear on a service restart. Quick Draw retains saved entries for its browser identity. Return with the same browser profile and cookies; each game guide explains its recovery limits. Another device, private browsing or cleared cookies may not reconnect to that account. Story badges use separate local browser storage.
What if I lose connection during a game?
Wait for the game’s reconnect or recovery message. If a command is pending, use its retry control rather than starting another play. Reload in the same browser if needed: the game checks for the saved result. Finish awarded free spins in the game that awarded them before switching between Cascade and Inspection.
Can I change the language or destination?
The six credit games offer English and Portuguese. Several games also offer different countries or regional menus; each game page lists the available destinations. Language and scenery do not change a game’s odds. Different games can have different rules.
Do badges change my chances or credits?
No. The Missing Braai Platter badges come from reading witness statements and choosing to save each discovery. No game round or credit spend is required. They are cosmetic, stay in this browser and do not change outcomes, credits or competition scores.
Where can I find controls, rules and mathematics?
Each game has its own instructions and rules. The game pages below explain the main decision before you launch. In-game paytables and saved receipts give the relevant round details; our mathematics reports provide additional technical evidence.
